Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by Suraj Nagarwal to explain what information this website collects and how it is used. Last updated 29 July 2026.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Suraj Nagarwal, an independent digital presence specialist working with female-led hair care businesses in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. For any privacy question, contact support@surajnagarwal.com.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact or audit-request form, we collect your name, business name, city / state / country, email address, phone number, and the challenge you select.
- Information you send directly. Emails, messages, or files you share with us while we discuss or deliver a project.
- Technical information. Standard server and hosting logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.
- Advertising information. If you arrive from an ad on Facebook or Instagram, the ad platform may pass campaign parameters in the URL and may record that you visited or contacted us. See section 5.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account, biometric, or government ID data) and ask that you do not send it to us.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and schedule your free digital presence audit.
- To prepare a proposal and deliver the services you ask for.
- To send you follow-up messages about your enquiry or project.
- To measure which ads and pages bring genuine enquiries.
- To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Legal bases (UK / EU visitors)
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on: your consent (when you submit a form or accept optional cookies), the performance of a contract (delivering services you have engaged us for), and our legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving a small business website).
5. Advertising, cookies and Meta platforms
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Where advertising or analytics tools are enabled on this site, they may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and share limited event data — such as page views or form submissions — with the advertising platform so we can measure results and show relevant ads.
This site does not use that data to make automated decisions about you, and we never upload sensitive categories of data to any ad platform. Meta processes information it receives under its own terms; you can review and control your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, and manage cookies through your browser settings.
If you contact us through a lead form hosted on Facebook or Instagram, the details you submit there are provided to us by Meta and are then handled under this policy.
6. Sharing and service providers
We share information only with providers that help us operate: website hosting, email, scheduling, and advertising or analytics platforms. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We ask each provider to keep your information confidential and to use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the life of the project plus any period required for tax and legal records. If you ask us to delete your details and we have no legal reason to keep them, we will remove them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California, the UK, the EU, and Canada have specific rights under their local laws, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To make a request, email support@surajnagarwal.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
9. Security
We use reputable hosting and service providers and limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it. No website or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential information by email.
10. Children
This site and these services are intended for business owners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of the page shows the most recent revision.
